Finance Director

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Director to join a growing technology business based in Cambridge. Working closely with the CEO and Board, you'll lead the finance function, provide strategic insight, and help drive the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver financial strategy in partnership with the CEO.

• Lead financial operations, including management accounts, cash flow, forecasting, and working capital management.

• Provide clear and insightful reporting to the Board.

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

• Lead and develop the finance team.

• Ensure regulatory compliance, robust financial controls, and successful audit delivery.

• Support governance across the wider group structure.

About You

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualified.

• Previous experience within a similar SME or mid-sized business.

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence strategic decision-making.

• Proven experience leading finance teams and driving business performance.

• Comfortable working with modern ERP systems and cloud-based finance software.

• Technology sector experience would be advantageous.
