    Job Description

    Finance Business Partner

    Our client, a growing international organisation based on the outskirts of Canterbury is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their expanding finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, private equity-backed business supporting high-profile projects across the EMEA region.

    Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in providing financial insight, driving commercial decision-making, and ensuring the smooth running of the finance function across multiple international entities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and review monthly management accounts for UK and overseas entities.

    • Support month-end reporting, financial consolidation, and intercompany reconciliations.

    • Manage cashflow reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

    • Oversee transactional finance, including supplier invoices, customer billing, and employee expenses.

    • Produce insightful reports for the board and investors, providing meaningful financial analysis.

    • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax regulations, and audit requirements.

    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency across the finance function.

    • Business partner with operational teams, providing commercial support and financial guidance.

    Skills & Experience

    • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or actively studying towards qualification.

    • Previous experience as a Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, or Management Accountant.

    • Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent commercial awareness.

    • Experience preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

    • Advanced Excel skills and confidence using finance systems

    • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.

    • Previous experience within a project-based, engineering, construction, or professional services environment would be advantageous.
