Department: Business Services - Outsourced Finance Reports to: Client Lead / Senior Location: Worcester office location with hybrid working (approximately 60% office-based)

The Opportunity

Join a growing Outsourced Finance team and become a trusted extension of clients' finance functions. You will support a varied portfolio of SME clients using cloud accounting technology, delivering accurate financial information, management reporting, and excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of clients.

• Process purchase and sales invoices, complete bank reconciliations, and maintain ledgers.

• Prepare VAT returns and support compliance requirements.

• Assist with management accounts preparation and month-end processes.

• Investigate discrepancies and resolve client queries proactively.

• Build strong client relationships and deliver a high standard of service.

• Work with cloud accounting software and related financial systems.

• Support process improvements and identify operational efficiencies.

• Study towards professional qualifications with employer support.

About You

• AAT Level 3 qualified, studying towards qualification, or qualified through relevant experience.

• Previous bookkeeping or accountancy practice experience is desirable.

• Strong Excel skills and experience using cloud accounting software.

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

• Proactive, curious, and keen to learn.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
