Finance Assistant

A well-established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their finance career within a fast-paced production environment.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate transaction processing and contributing to the smooth running of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions

• Matching, checking and coding invoices

• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries

• Assisting with credit control activities

• Performing bank reconciliations

• Processing employee expenses

• Supporting month-end procedures and reporting

• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

• Assisting with payroll administration where required

• Providing general support to the wider finance team About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping role

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organisational and time-management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent communication skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience with accounting software would be advantageous

• AAT qualification or active study towards AAT would be desirable but not essential What's on Offer?
