Data & IT Support Officer Location: Rotherham Hospice Salary: £25,331 - £30,960 per annum Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm Contract type: Permanent Closing date: 14th August 2026 Purpose of the Role To support the organisation's effective use of data, systems and technology by maintaining accurate data records, producing reports and insights, and providing first-line IT support to colleagues. The role will spend approximately 60% of its time supporting data management activities and 40% providing IT support and system administration. Key Responsibilities Data Management - Maintain accurate records across organisational databases and systems. - Perform regular data cleansing, validation and quality assurance checks. - Produce routine reports, dashboards and performance information. - Support departments with data extraction and analysis requests. - Develop and maintain data collection processes and procedures. - Ensure compliance with GDPR and organisational data governance requirements. - Identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for service improvement through data analysis. - Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements. - Assist with the development and maintenance of KPI reporting. - Create and update system documentation and user guides.
