The Opportunity An established and highly regarded accountancy and business advisory practice is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior to join its growing tax team in Cambridge. The Role As a Corporate Tax Senior, your responsibilities will include:

Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance work is delivered accurately and on time.

Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax Returns for a wide range of businesses.

Assisting with corporate tax advisory projects, including group restructures, capital allowances, R&D tax relief, share schemes and transactions.

Supporting clients with tax planning opportunities and helping them remain compliant with UK tax legislation.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.

Liaising with HMRC regarding client matters where required.

Working closely with Managers and Partners on more complex tax assignments.

Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team.

Keeping up to date with changes in UK tax legislation and applying technical knowledge to client work.

Collaborating with colleagues across audit, accounts and business advisory teams to deliver joined-up client solutions.
About You The successful candidate will ideally have:

ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified or studying towards a relevant professional qualification.

Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice specialising in Corporate Tax.

Strong technical knowledge of UK Corporation Tax compliance.

Exposure to corporate tax advisory work would be advantageous.

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Strong communication skills and the confidence to build lasting client relationships.

A proactive approach with a genuine desire to continue developing both technically and professionally.
