    Job Description

    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    Incumbent is responsible for identifying and contracting with partner organizations able to refer potential Participants to Element Care PACE. Develops and implements strategies to achieve annual enrollment targets and leads a team of Outreach Account Representatives selling and promoting enrollment in Element Care PACE. This position is Bonus eligible.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • With guidance from leadership, develops and implements annual business development strategy that includes activities necessary to achieve referral and enrollment goals from targeted contracted and potentially contracted partners and prospects.

    • Identifies, qualifies, and secures through contract, new partnerships with referral producing provider organizations such as assisted living facilities, adult day health, housing organizations, specialty providers.

    • Understands, expertly describes, and presents the Element Care PACE program and value proposition to internal/external groups such as employees, referrals, caregivers, and accounts, as well as potential partners.

    • Builds business relationships with current and potential contracted provider organizations

    • Screens potential partnership deals and develops negotiating strategies considering deal requirements, risks, and rewards; estimating partners' needs and goals, attempting to develop win/win partnerships considering Element Care PACE priorities.

    • Closes new partnership deals by coordinating proposal development and working closely with legal counsel to draft and negotiate contracts.

    • Serves as a visible member of the community and serves as an ambassador of Element Care PACE at community meetings and events.

    • Understands the local marketplace and the key players that operate within that marketplace

    • Partners with Marketing to implement go-to market strategies

    • Monitors departmental budget expenses and reporting.

    • Recruits, develops, manages and motivates staff. Initiates and communicates a variety of personnel actions including employment, termination, performance reviews, salary reviews, and disciplinary actions.

    • Performs other duties as required Qualifications & Skills:

    • MBA Preferred or Bachelor's degree with demonstrable business/sales acumen and success in a relevant field

    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in healthcare or group insurance strongly preferred

    • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and dual eligible programs a plus

    • Be socially adept and good with numbers.

    • Experience with lead generation and prospect management.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • The ability and desire to call, connect, and interact with potential partners and Participants.

    • Be persuasive and goal-oriented; self-motivated and self-directed.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to demonstrate patience and enthusiasm while communicating with potential clients.

    • Ability to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives.

    • Excellent computer skills and high-level proficiency in work-related applications.

    • Ability to attend events outside of regular business hours.

    • Ability to develop strong relationships with multiple partner organizations and referral sources.

    • COVID vaccinated preferred.
