Business Planning & Strategy Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to support the delivery of organisational and digital strategy. Lead on the development of solutions to complex IT and business systems challenges. Provide expert advice, forecasting and technical input into organisation-wide transformation programmes. Support strategic improvements to Line of Business systems and wider digital service delivery. Contribute to the preparation of business cases, procurement documentation, tenders and supplier evaluations. Support the development of long-term IT strategies, service plans, budgets and investment planning. Person Specification Essential Qualifications Applicants must possess one of the following: Degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in ICT, Computing, Systems Development or a related discipline, and a minimum of two years' experience in a Systems Manager or similar role; OR Higher National Diploma (HND) in ICT, Computing, Systems Development or a related discipline, and a minimum of two years' experience in a Systems Manager or similar role. Essential Experience Experience managing, maintaining and upgrading complex IT systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across enterprise applications and infrastructure. Experience working with multiple business systems and third-party suppliers. Experience delivering IT projects and implementing system improvements. Experience managing IT service requests, incidents and change processes. Skills & Competencies Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Customer-focused approach with excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against changing deadlines. Other Requirements Full UK driving licence, or access to suitable transport to fulfil the requirements of the role.
