About the Role

Join a global insurance group as a Syndicate Accountant. Drive accurate syndicate and regulatory reporting for their Lloyd's syndicate, partnering across underwriting, claims, and finance teams to deliver process improvements and tight controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general ledger close for Syndicate and related entities (US GAAP and UK GAAP reporting)

• Maintain controls and reconciliations across technical accounts and balance sheet items

• Support interface implementation and collaborate on system improvements

• Partner with Finance teams on analysis, planning, and regulatory reporting

• Liaise with auditors and support audit processes Requirements

• Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or working towards

• Deep Lloyd's market knowledge, Lloyd's/FCA/PRA reporting experience. (including Xchanging, LCA processes) either from Practice or Industry

• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills

• Self-motivated team player comfortable working independently and mentoring more junior staff
