Responsibilities of the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer: - Provide expert 3rd Line support across enterprise cloud infrastructure. - Monitor cloud platform health, availability and capacity. - Support and administer Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments. - Support bespoke applications hosted within Azure, working alongside development teams to investigate infrastructure-related issues. - Carry out infrastructure patching, maintenance and planned change activities. - Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes to recurring issues. - Respond to major incidents and participate in technical escalations. - Participate in Cloud Infrastructure improvement initiatives and projects if required.
