    Are you a Senior Architectural Technician looking for your next opportunity? My client is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Architectural Technician to join their growing team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in the technical delivery of commercial projects, working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams while mentoring junior colleagues.

    Key Responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technician role:

    • Lead the technical delivery of projects across all RIBA stages.

    • Produce and oversee high-quality technical drawings, detailing and construction information.

    • Develop, coordinate and manage Revit models throughout project delivery.

    • Coordinate with architects, consultants and the wider project team to ensure successful project outcomes.

    • Support project planning, programming and technical coordination.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.

    • Mentor and support junior technicians and contribute to the development of the wider team.

    • Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations and industry best practice.

    • Manage your workload and assist in coordinating project resources to meet deadlines.

    • Attend site visits and travel throughout the UK to support project delivery where required.

    Requirements for this Senior Architectural Technician role:

    • HNC, HND or Degree in Architectural Technology, or equivalent industry experience.

    • Significant experience delivering Commercial projects within the UK.

    • Proficiency in Revit is essential.

    • Experience working within BIM environments.

    • Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods, detailing and Building Regulations.

    • Good understanding of the UK planning and construction process.

    • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.

    • Comfortable working in a client-facing role.

    • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

    • Willingness to travel throughout the UK when required.
