As Personal Tax Manager, you will manage a diverse portfolio of individuals, business owners and high-net-worth clients, providing a combination of personal tax compliance and advisory services. Your responsibilities as Personal Tax Manager will include: - Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients from preparation through to submission - Reviewing and overseeing self-assessment tax returns - Advising clients on a range of personal tax matters - Providing tax planning and advisory support to individuals and business owners - Dealing with income tax, capital gains tax and other personal tax matters - Reviewing work prepared by junior members of the team - Responding to client queries and providing clear, commercially focused advice - Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships - Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring clients remain compliant - Supporting the wider practice with ad hoc tax projects and advisory work - Assisting with the development and mentoring of more junior team members The successful Personal Tax Manager will have strong experience in personal tax, ideally gained within an accountancy practice, and will be confident managing client relationships and complex tax matters. You will ideally have: - Previous experience in a Personal Tax Manager or similar role - Strong UK personal tax knowledge - Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients - Experience with self-assessment, capital gains tax and tax planning - Excellent communication and client relationship skills - Strong attention to detail and organisational skills - The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines - A proactive and commercially minded approach - ATT and/or CTA qualified or qualified by experience This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established accountancy practice with a diverse client base and a strong reputation for providing a professional and personal service.
