Practice Accountant
Job Description
A well-established accountancy practice commutable from Ipswich and the surrounding areas is seeking to recruit a Practice Accountant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Practice Accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and progressive firm. The business is open to both full-time and part-time hours, with the potential to recruit up to two new members of staff.
The successful Practice Accountant will play a key role within the practice, working closely with a varied client base and supporting the continued growth of the firm.
Duties can include:

Preparation and submission of personal tax returns for individuals

Preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT and CIS returns for partnerships and limited companies

Payroll processing and associated compliance

Company formations and statutory registrations

Supporting the implementation of new accounting software across the practice

Managing a portfolio of circa 320 clients

Ensuring all statutory filings and compliance deadlines are met accurately and on time

Providing general accountancy, tax and business advisory services

Acting as primary client contact, maintaining strong ongoing relationships
