Job Description
Paraplanner Location: South Manchester Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive (DOE) Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a well-established wealth management firm that genuinely invests in its people?
We're recruiting for a technically strong Paraplanner to support a team of Financial Consultants, delivering high-quality research, suitability reports and technical expertise. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and wants to develop their career within a supportive, professional environment.
The Role Working closely with Financial Consultants and the wider support team, you'll be responsible for:

Producing high-quality investment and suitability reports for new and existing clients

Preparing pre-investment packs to support financial planning recommendations

Conducting market and investment research to ensure recommendations remain competitive and appropriate

Providing technical support and guidance to the administration team

Building and maintaining relationships with investment and insurance providers

Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and Conduct Rules

Supporting advisers with complex technical cases where required About You We're looking for someone who has:

At least 2 years' experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm

Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or currently working towards it)

Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products

Excellent analytical and report-writing skills

A high level of attention to detail and accuracy

The ability to understand and communicate complex financial planning solutions
