Management Accountant

Management Accountant Warrington Hybrid £45,000 to £52,500 + Excellent Benefits & Bonus Axon Moore is delighted to be partnering with a large, well-established business in Warrington to recruit a qualified Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in a varied role with exposure to senior stakeholders, process improvement initiatives, and genuine career development. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and group reporting

• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

• Producing insightful overhead reporting and supporting key stakeholders with financial performance

• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close

• Maintaining robust financial controls and identifying process improvements

• Supporting Finance Business Partners and cost centre managers with commercial insight

• Assisting with treasury, tax and audit requirements

• Supporting business change projects, systems improvements and finance transformation initiatives

• Mentoring junior team members and providing technical support where required The Candidate

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 1-3 years' post-qualified experience

• Strong management accounting, reporting and forecasting experience

• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail

• Confident communicating with stakeholders across the business

• Previous team leadership or mentoring experience is desirable but not essential

• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
