My client is a specialist manufacturer of components that are used within industries such as Defence, Communication and R&D. They are seeking a Field Sales Engineer to join their existing team. As a Field Sales Engineer, your role will focus on account management, understanding technical requirements, providing product knowledge and technical solutions to both new and existing clients.

Field Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

• Travel to customer sites and deliver technical presentations

• Understand technical requirements and propose technical solutions

• Support customers throughout the full product cycle from initial concept through to delivery

• Provide technical support and product knowledge when required

• Work to and deliver against sales KPIs

Field Sales Engineer Requirements:

• Experienced in technical or engineering sales

• Background or understanding of RF, microwave, electronics, or telecommunication technologies

• Ability to understand technical customer requirements

• Strong communication and presentation skills are a must

• Full UK Driving Licence
