DevSecOps / Software Factory Engineer

DevSecOps / Software Factory Engineer - SC CLEARED Frimley, Surrey £67.70 per hour, umbrella Inside IR35 6 months initially Hybrid - as and when required, maximum one day per week onsite SC clearance required

We are recruiting for an experienced DevSecOps / Software Factory Engineer to support a major programme within the UK defence sector.

The role will focus on the development and continuous improvement of a Software Factory used to support the delivery of next-generation software products. You will work within an Agile engineering team, developing solutions and capabilities that enable modern, efficient software development through DevSecOps and cloud computing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for the Software Factory

• Work within an Agile team alongside the Scrum Master and Product Owner

• Support developers with design, development and code reviews

• Support software integration and product testing

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevSecOps approaches and processes

• Support downstream product integration within secure, air-gapped environments Skills & Experience We are looking for candidates with experience in areas such as:

• DevSecOps / DevOps engineering

• Software development and delivery environments

• CI/CD and development tooling

• Cloud computing / cloud-ready environments

• Software integration and testing

• Agile delivery

• Designing and implementing technical solutions

• Secure or air-gapped environments would be highly advantageous Desirable:

• Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Technology or Science

• Membership of a professional engineering institution recognised by the Engineering Council

• Working towards IEng or CEng professional registration Due to the nature of the programme, security and export control restrictions apply.
