A highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Newbury is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager into a visible and genuinely broad role within the tax team.

You'll work directly with entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed companies and larger corporate groups across a mix of compliance and advisory projects, whilst also becoming a key part of the wider team's development over time.

The work is varied, commercially focused and partner-led, without the rigid structure often found in larger firms.

The role will involve:

Managing a portfolio of Corporate Tax clients Reviewing complex Corporation Tax work Supporting advisory projects including restructures and planning assignments Building long-term client relationships Mentoring and supporting junior staff Working closely with Directors and senior leadership on wider tax matters

Strong UK Corporate Tax experience within practice CTA qualified or equivalent experience Someone technically strong but commercially aware A confident communicator who enjoys client interaction An individual who wants to keep developing rather than standing still
