Core Software Assistant (Fully Remote)
Job Description
Fully remote role sits within a central systems team, supporting the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of Practice Management and Document Management processes through ticket support, data cleansing, reporting, templates, training and process documentation.

The client is a UK-wide professional services business with a central systems team responsible for supporting and improving core Practice Management and Document Management processes.
Description
You will be responsible for:

Provide day-to-day support for Practice Management and Document Management system queries

Assist with ticket support, troubleshooting and resolving user issues across the business.

Support the creation, documentation and improvement of standard processes.

Help deliver training and induction sessions for new and existing users.
-
Assist with data cleansing, data quality checks and KPI alert reviews.
-
Support reporting activity, including creating or adapting system reports.
-
Help create, update and upload document and billing templates.
-
Support month-end system processes, disbursement imports and database-related tasks.

Monitor adherence to agreed processes and work with users to resolve issues.

Contribute to wider improvement projects, including system integrations and acquisition-related activity where required.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:

Experience within accountancy practice, professional services, or financial services environment.

Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data.
-
The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Excellent attention to detail, particularly around data quality and process accuracy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A logical, curious and improvement-focused mindset.

The confidence to support users, answer queries and explain processes clearly.

The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision.

A proactive, self-motivated approach and willingness to get involved in wider team projects.
