Description Network Operations & Support (Run - approx. 80%) - Providing day-to-day support for network services across all Imerys sites, ensuring high levels of performance, availability and security. - Managing incidents and changes through ServiceNow, with clear and timely updates. - Monitoring, analysing and troubleshooting complex issues across Cisco and Palo Alto environments. - Supporting site teams and helpdesk colleagues with connectivity and performance concerns. - Performing system backups, patching and general network maintenance. - Maintaining accurate asset inventories for network devices and components. - Responding to urgent or high-priority incidents and supporting business continuity and disaster-recovery activities. Projects & Network Improvements (Build - approx. 20%) - Contributing to global and UK-level network improvement and security projects. - Installing, configuring and maintaining Cisco and Palo Alto equipment (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN, etc.). - Helping refine and implement global networking policies, ensuring alignment with UK operations. - Preparing clear technical documentation for IT teams and users. - Supporting technology reviews and future network design improvements.
