Senior MAS Technical Consultant - remote/hybrid

Location: UK (Hybrid)

Security Clearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance (minimum 5 years recent residence in the UK) Preference for candidates willing and able to undertake DV clearance.

Overview

Our client, a UK consulting companmy and IBM platinum partner organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant to lead the design, implementation and support of enterprise asset and facilities management solutions for defence and critical infrastructure clients.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor, engaging directly with clients, leading technical workstreams, and delivering complex solutions throughout the project lifecycle. The role combines technical leadership, solution design, client consultancy and hands-on delivery.

Essential Experience

IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS)

Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite, including:

• Solution design and technical architecture

• System configuration and implementation

• Data migration and integration

• Environment management and deployments

• Technical troubleshooting and support

• Working directly with clients to define technical solutions Red Hat OpenShift

Candidates must be comfortable working with enterprise container platforms, including:

• OpenShift architecture and administration

• Kubernetes concepts

• Platform deployment and configuration

• Environment management across Development, Test and Production

• Supporting and troubleshooting containerised applications

Technical Consultancy

The successful candidate must be able to:

Engage confidently with client technical teams and senior stakeholders

Lead technical workshops and requirements discussions

Translate business requirements into technical solutions

Produce technical and solution design documentation

Explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Lead technical workstreams and mentor junior consultants

Desirable Experience

Experience with one or more of the following would be advantageous:

• IBM Maximo Manage

• IBM Maximo Mobile

• IBM MAS Monitor

• IBM MAS Health

• IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)

• Enterprise integrations (ERP, GIS, SCADA)

• Asset Management, Facilities Management or Workplace Management solutions

• UK Government or Defence projects

• Secure cloud environments (Azure, Oracle Cloud, AWS)
