We're recruiting on behalf of a successful, privately owned business based in Oadby. They are looking for a Sales Representative to join their growing team and play a key role in managing customer enquiries, building relationships and converting enquiries into sales.

As a Sales Representative, you'll be office based and responsible for guiding customers through the sales process from initial enquiry through to completion. You'll build strong relationships with customers, provide excellent service and identify opportunities to maximise sales.

Responsibilities of the Sales Representative

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email

• Follow up enquiries and convert them into sales

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers

• Update customer information accurately on the company database

• Negotiate with customers and maximise sales opportunities

• Deliver a professional, friendly and efficient customer experience

Skills and Experience Required for the Sales Representative

• Previous experience in a sales, customer service or customer-facing role

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Confidence negotiating and closing sales

• Good IT skills and experience using computer systems

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

• A positive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently

Due to the nature of the Sales Representative role, a full, clean driving licence is essential. The role also includes working Saturdays.
