The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting across 2 jurisdictions. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of management information, supporting group reporting requirements, coordinating statutory audits and assisting with the day-to-day management of the finance function. The successful candidate will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, support department-wide projects and provide leadership and guidance to members of the finance team. Key Responsibilities - Lead, coordinate and review monthly and quarterly reporting packs across multiple jurisdictions. - Support the preparation and consolidation of group financial information. - Manage and oversee annual budgeting and forecasting processes. - Review general ledger postings and ensure the integrity of financial data. - Review VAT returns prepared by external advisers. - Ensure cross-border transactions and intercompany services are accurately invoiced and recorded. - Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements and manage relationships with external auditors. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, controls and finance processes. - Support the development and implementation of finance systems and reporting tools. - Prepare and monitor rolling cashflow forecasts extending at least 18 months ahead. - Oversee salary allocations and ensure monthly reconciliations are completed accurately. - Assist with credit control activities and debt collection processes. - Review and sign off monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations. - Lead, support and provide performance management to a small finance team. About You To be successful in this position, you will possess a strong technical accounting background combined with excellent communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities - Manage project schedules, timelines and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects. - Oversee project budgets, forecasting and supplier spend. - Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery. - Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies and potential bottlenecks. - Work closely with senior stakeholders to establish realistic delivery plans and priorities. - Maintain strong communication across all departments, ensuring expectations are clear and achievable. - Help build and maintain a trusted network of freelance and specialist resource partners. - Support a positive working culture by balancing operational demands with team capacity and wellbeing. Experience and skills required - 8-15+ years' experience within project management, production management or operations roles. - Experience working with global FMCG and consumer brands within a fast-paced agency environment. - Exposure to ATL creative, integrated marketing or branding agency projects. - Experience supporting the delivery of strategic brand development and brand-led campaigns - Strong planning and resource management capabilities. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. - A pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to problem solving. - Experience managing budgets, timelines and supplier relationships. - The ability to remain calm and organised when priorities shift. Core Duties: - Sourcing, negotiating and contracting activities, including raising formal documents to support the sourcing and contracting process, including Request for Information, Request for Quotation, Assessment documents, Purchase Orders - Managing or overseeing the management of contracts throughout their life in conjunction with the business - Proactively manage instances of supplier under-performance against cost, quality and schedule - Manage supplier payment process and resolve any goods receiving and supplier debt issues - Effectively manage order book, to ensure timely deliveries and accurate cash forecasting - Demonstrate a good understanding of Company systems, including purchase to pay systems, risk and supplier management tools, to implement an effective risk management process Essential Skills: - You will have demonstrated experience working within a procurement and/or similar environment - You will possess a good standard of Procurement competence in key areas such as category management , procurement delivery, supplier development, subcontract management - You will have experience using SAP for reporting, raising purchase orders and managing delivery timelines - You will be working towards a Level 5 qualification (for example CIPS or ISM) or have equivalent standard The Underwater Battlespace and Autonomy Product Development team: This role will support the Sting Ray mid-life upgrade project which is fast paced new technologies in the Torpedo domain, there’s also projects in return to manufacture which looks to strategy about bringing the capability back to BO to manufacture String Ray.
