IAM Solution Architect

• Site based role in South West

• 680 to 720 per day - Inside IR35

• Requires DV Clearance

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a greenfield Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform within a highly secure environment. This is a key role where you'll shape a modern Microsoft-based identity solution, working closely with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of a new on-premise IAM platform.

• Design secure identity solutions using Windows Server 2022 , Active Directory , and ADFS .

• Deliver Single Sign-On (SSO), federation, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) solutions.

• Define architecture standards, technical governance, and best practices.

• Produce HLDs, LLDs, and technical documentation.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement throughout project delivery.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a Solution or Technical Architect delivering Microsoft identity solutions.

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory , ADFS , Windows Server 2022 , and enterprise IAM.

• Experience with SAML , OAuth 2.0 , OpenID Connect , SSO, and RBAC.

• Good understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, routing, and load balancing.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working within Defence or other highly secure environments.

Desirable

• Microsoft Identity or Solutions Architect certifications.

• Hybrid identity and PowerShell automation experience.
