    Job Description

    Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic credit union team.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for new employees

    • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational goals

    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies

    • Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

    • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data management

    • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement

    • Assist in payroll processing and compensation administration

    • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee recognition and engagement activities

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

    -SHRM certification

    • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably within financial services or credit unions

    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity

    • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
