Location: UK Nationwide (Field Based) Salary: 50,000- 55,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Company Car

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established and growing packaging business. This is a national field-based role focused on developing new business opportunities and growing relationships with customers across a range of industrial sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional with a proven background in the packaging industry who enjoys winning new business and building long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across the UK.

• Identify and convert new customers within target markets.

• Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to order completion.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.

• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and close sales.

• Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored packaging solutions.

• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM system.

• Attend customer meetings, site visits and industry exhibitions.

Requirements

• Previous business development or sales experience within the packaging industry is essential.

• Proven track record of generating and winning new business.

• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage a national sales territory independently.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Full UK driving licence.

• 50,000- 55,000 basic salary
