Are you an expert in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) with deep, hands-on experience in thin-film processes? Our client is building frontier AI systems for materials science and semiconductors, and is looking for ALD specialists to help ground those models in real-world scientific expertise.

This is a hands-on role that blends your deep domain knowledge in ALD and thin-film deposition with cutting-edge AI research - your expertise will directly shape how advanced models reason about materials and processes.

In this role, you'll:

• Apply your ALD and thin-film expertise to design, review, and evaluate challenging scientific problems
• Assess and improve AI-generated reasoning across ALD process development, precursor chemistry, and characterization
• Help define and structure high-quality domain data that downstream models learn from
• Collaborate with the research team to raise the scientific rigor of the models

You're a strong fit if you:

• Have hands-on experience developing, optimizing, or troubleshooting ALD processes - Must Have
• Bring deep knowledge of thin-film deposition for semiconductor or materials applications - Must Have
• Understand precursor chemistry and surface reaction mechanisms
• Have experience with materials characterization (XRD, SEM, TEM, XPS, ellipsometry, etc.)
• Hold an advanced degree (PhD/MS) or equivalent hands-on experience in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or physics
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely

Role Details:
