Field Sales Engineer

An experienced sales engineer is required to join an innovation-led engineering solutions provider. Primarily in the areas of electro-pneumatic and pneumatic valves, sensors and controls for manufacturing & production machinery automation applications within most manufacturing environments. Sectors: food & bev, automotive, aerospace, process & industrial, FMCG, pharma.

This really is a great technical sales job, selling premium product incorporated into innovation solutions for control & automation, waste reduction, and selling to leading manufacturers.

This is a proactive sales position involving generating new business opportunities, project identification, upselling, consultative and solutions selling. It involved selling engineering solutions to engineering managers, rather than selling on price.

Key Requirements: Field sales experience and new business expertise and engineering qualifications.

The Role

• Covering Lancashire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, Wales

• Selling engineering solutions to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and reduce maintenance. Automation solutions.

• Booking own appointments with Engineering Managers, MDs, Procurement Managers.

• Account management and self-generated new business sales, following up enquiries.

• Selling to existing and new customers throughout territory

• Supporting existing customer base

• Identifying opportunities for new solutions and work with the engineering team and suppliers to develop these You

• Genuinely looking for a field sales position and willing to do extensive new business

• Engineering qualified; engineering graduate, HNC or apprentice trained - Electrical or Mechanical

• An internal sales engineer looking for a field-based role would be considered

• Driving licence

• Applicants should already live on patch

Benefits Package

• Basic to around 45K

• Bonus OTE 55K
