    About the Role My Client is looking for a talented Management Accountant to join a growing finance team within a fast-paced, international business. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts while supporting financial reporting across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in month-end reporting, financial analysis and process improvement. Working closely with senior finance leaders, you'll help improve reporting standards, strengthen financial controls and provide valuable commercial insight to support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Management Accounts & Month-End - Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements. - Produce supporting commentary and variance analysis. - Manage the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations. - Process foreign currency transactions and revaluations across multiple entities. - Produce ad hoc financial reports for senior management. - Maintain and improve month-end reporting processes and reporting packs. Financial Control & Compliance - Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. - Prepare VAT returns and support statutory reporting requirements. - Analyse and account for sales from multiple revenue streams and online platforms Commercial Finance - Support landed cost analysis, including freight, duties and tariffs. - Provide margin analysis by product, customer and sales channel. - Partner with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insight and support cost control initiatives. About You You'll be a proactive and commercially aware finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment and takes pride in producing accurate, meaningful financial information. Essential Skills & Experience - Part-qualified or newly qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA). - Experience preparing monthly management accounts from start to finish. - Strong month-end experience including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations. - Good understanding of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting. - Experience working with multiple revenue streams within an e-commerce environment. - Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Lookups. - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. - Able to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment. - Previous experience working within an SME or multi-entity business. Desirable - Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Xero. - Experience with Amazon and TikTok sales platforms. - Experience within an import-led or stock-holding business. - Multi-entity and multi-currency accounting experience. - VAT and statutory reporting experience. - Experience working with royalty accounting .
