    Adapro Talent Partners are delighted to be supporting a large PE Backed Hospitality/Retail business with their recruitment of a Head of Finance - Operations. The Head of Finance - Operations is a permanent position, based out of the company's Bedfordshire Head Office, and it will report into the Finance Director, and lead a team of 5. As Head of Operations Finance, you'll be the trusted financial partner to the Operations teams, providing commercial insight, challenge and support across a large, complex, multi-site estate. You'll lead a high-performing finance team while driving the financial performance agenda, ensuring robust controls, accurate forecasting and meaningful reporting that helps operational leaders make informed decisions. This role offers a unique blend of strategic leadership, commercial business partnering and operational finance, making it ideal for an experienced finance leader who enjoys influencing at executive level while remaining close to the operational heartbeat of the business. Key Responsibilities: - Leading the Operations Finance function, providing strategic financial leadership across the nationwide estate. - Partnering with senior operational stakeholders to influence decision-making through insightful financial analysis and commercial challenge. - Owning the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes for Operations. - Delivering meaningful performance reporting that identifies opportunities to improve revenue, margin and labour productivity. - Driving cost optimisation initiatives across labour, utilities, direct materials and overheads. - Partnering with Operations to improve energy, utilities and ESG cost performance. - Managing the Finance relationship with Dayforce workforce planning systems. - Developing KPIs that support operational excellence and productivity improvements. - Providing financial modelling and commercial evaluation for capital investment, strategic projects and business initiatives. - Ensuring strong financial controls, governance and compliance across operational activities. - Leading continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, systems and reporting. - Collaborating with Finance, Operations, Property, Commercial and People teams to support wider business transformation. Our Client is looking for a commercially minded finance leader who can combine strategic thinking with strong operational understanding. You'll be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and have a track record of building influential relationships with senior stakeholders. You'll also have: - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification. - Significant senior finance leadership experience within a multi-site business. - Strong business partnering experience with operational leadership teams. - Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to turn data into actionable business insight. - Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes. - Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills. - Proven experience leading and developing successful finance teams. - Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Experience within hospitality, retail, travel, leisure or other service-led organisations. The IT Service Desk Team Leader plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the IT service desk by managing the flow of support tickets and coordinating the activities of the support team. This role will focus on prompt and effective resolution of IT tickets, distributing them to engineers, to be completed on time and ensure updates are provided to clients. This is a crucial role within the IT Support Team, and will act as a central hub for incoming support requests and will be responsible for ensuring those requests are addressed efficiently and effectively. KEY RESPONSIBILITES - Receive, prioritise, and dispatch incoming service tickets to appropriate IT support personnel based on the complexity and nature of issues. - Monitor ticket queues to ensure timely resolution of client issues and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). - Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and update ticket status in the service management system. - Assign tickets to technicians based on skillsets, availability, and urgency of issues. - Coordinate and schedule engineer calls as required. - Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information to expedite ticket resolution. - Step in to take calls and provide immediate assistance when engineers are unavailable, ensuring that all client queries and issues are addressed promptly and efficiently. - Manage and coordinate incident handling according to established processes, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining high standards of service. This includes logging incidents, tracking progress, and ensuring timely communication with all involved parties. - Generate regular reports on ticket status, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review. - Identify areas for process improvement and assist in implementing solutions to enhance service delivery. - Coach, develop and inspire a team of 6 1st Line Support Staff - Act as an escalation point and provide guidance and coaching to junior staff. - Identify key issues and risks and promptly escalate them to senior management. - Performance reviews, absence management, 1-2-1s and coaching plans within the team. The Payroll & Expenses Administrator, will be part of a small, friendly Payroll team within the wider Finance function. They will take ownership of the end-to-end in-house 4-weekly payroll for over 2,000 hourly paid employees, while also managing weekly expenses, supporting pension administration and ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be the first point of contact for payroll and expenses queries, work closely with managers across the business, produce payroll reporting and help drive continuous improvements to our payroll processes. If you're highly organised, detail-focused and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The successful Candidate will possess at least 2 years experience of processing end-to-end, in-house payroll, and they will have a strong understanding of UK Payroll legislation, pensions auto-enrolment and and statutory payments.     Adapro Talent Partners are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a highly acquisitive, Milton Keynes based multi-site organisation who are looking to recruit a Technical Accountant, on a permanent basis. The Technical Accountant is a newly created position as a result of continued growth and expansion, and they will support the Group Technical Accountant in delivering high-quality statutory reporting and technical accounting across the UK Group. This role will be responsible for preparing statutory financial statements, researching accounting matters, drafting technical accounting papers and accounting policies, and supporting the accounting work associated with acquisitions, restructures and other non-routine transactions. Key Responsibilities will include: Statutory Accounts - Prepare statutory financial statements under FRS 102 for individual entities and, where appropriate, consolidated groups. - Ensure that financial statements comply with applicable accounting standards, Companies Act requirements and UK Group accounting policies. - Prepare or update significant statutory disclosures, including those relating to leases, financial instruments, provisions, related parties and business combinations. Technical Accounting Research - Research accounting matters arising under FRS 102, UK company law and other relevant technical guidance. - Analyse the accounting implications of new standards, amendments and regulatory developments. - Maintain appropriate supporting references and documentation for technical conclusions. - Escalate complex, judgemental or uncertain matters to the Group Technical Accountant. - Develop knowledge of IFRS and HGB where relevant to UK Group and parent company reporting. T echnical Accounting Papers/Policies - Draft technical accounting papers for review by the Group Technical Accountant. - Clearly document the relevant facts, applicable accounting requirements, analysis and recommended treatment. - Assist with the preparation and maintenance of UK Group accounting policies. - Update accounting manuals, process notes and technical guidance following changes in accounting standards or UK Group policies. - Maintain records of accounting judgements, estimates and policy decisions. - Ensure that technical documentation is complete, accurate and suitable for audit review. Acquisitions & Transactions - Support the Group Technical Accountant with acquisitions, disposals, restructures and other corporate transactions. - Prepare supporting calculations and schedules for purchase price allocations, goodwill, intangible assets, leases and deferred consideration. - Assist with the preparation of acquisition accounting papers and financial statement disclosures. - Support post-acquisition accounting and the integration of acquired entities into Group reporting processes. Audit Support - Prepare supporting documentation for external audit. - Assist the Group Technical Accountant with complex audit matters. - Ensure that agreed audit adjustments and disclosure amendments are accurately reflected in the statutory accounts. - Build effective and professional working relationships with external auditors. Year-End & Group Reporting - Support the year-end reporting processes, both UK Group and parent company reporting. - Prepare technical schedules, reconciliations and disclosure information. - Assist with the review of entity reporting submissions for compliance with Group accounting policies. - Assist with the analysis and reconciliation of differences between UK statutory reporting and Group reporting requirements. Processes & Controls - Assist with improving statutory reporting processes and accounting documentation. - Maintain templates, disclosure checklists and standard technical-paper formats. - Identify inconsistencies or weaknesses in accounting records and raise them with the Group Technical Accountant. - Use systems and technology to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. The role will likely suit a Newly Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant who has trained in Practice, and is looking first a first move into Industry, although a QBE with demonstrable technical accounting experience would be considered. Strong understanding of FRS102 as well as excellent statutory reporting experience is required for this role. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a strong interest in technical accounting and statutory reporting, and possess the ability to research accounting requirements and apply them to practical situations. Our Client is offering a Salary of 50,000 - 55,000 + Benefits.
