The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: - Oracle and PostgreSQL databases - Database management, performance tuning, backup and recovery, upgrade, patch management - Problem solver - Excellent attention to detail - Good team player - Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator) is a plus but not essential. Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET & React) Northamptonshire - Hybrid / Remote £60,000 - £70,000 We're looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join a talented software engineering team developing modern applications that power large-scale, mission-critical operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of a next-generation software platform, working with modern technologies including .NET, React, TypeScript and PostgreSQL. You'll help shape technical direction, contribute to architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality software that solves complex real-world challenges. Working alongside experienced Software Engineers, Architects, Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact while continuing to develop your own technical expertise. What You'll Be Doing - Design and develop modern web applications using C#, .NET, React and TypeScript. - Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using PostgreSQL. - Contribute to software architecture, technical design and engineering best practices. - Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code. - Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers where appropriate. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality customer-focused solutions. - Drive continuous improvement across development processes, tooling and platforms. - Work within Agile development practices using tools such as Jira and Confluence. You'll be a passionate software engineer with strong commercial experience and a desire to build high-quality solutions using modern technologies. You'll ideally have: - Strong commercial experience developing with C# and .NET. - Experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript. - Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs. - Good knowledge of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL. - A solid understanding of software engineering principles, testing and maintainable code design. - Experience working within Agile development environments. - A degree in Computer Science (or a related discipline), or equivalent commercial experience.     We are currently recruiting for a Remote Home Based DevOps Engineer on a permanent basis for a expanding business. The main focus of this role will be to implement and maintain the automation and deployment of pipeline for the delivery of software products and releases. This will include: - Facilitate CI / CD pipelines using Git based workflows - Automate code builds, testing and deployment processes - Automate operational tasks, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning. - Implement monitoring and alerting systems The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: - Automation of software delivery and infrastructure provisioning. - Proficient using Ansible - Cloud and On-Premise environments - Strong Linux systems administration experience - Docker Building and managing containerised applications This role will mainly be remote based but with occasional head office / customer site attendance. Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 basic plus bonus
