Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist

Matheny Medical and Educational Center seeks a Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist to recruit and welcome staff who support children and adults with complex developmental disabilities. In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruiting for clinical, educational, and support roles; source diverse candidates; coordinate interviews; and guide hiring managers through selection. You will also lead pre-hire checks, organize orientation and onboarding, and ensure a positive candidate and new-hire experience that reflects Matheny's compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical, educational, and support roles

• Source, screen, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers

• Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and hiring panels

• Guide managers through selection, offers, and hiring workflows

• Oversee pre-employment checks, credentialing, and onboarding paperwork

• Plan and facilitate new-hire orientation and onboarding activities

• Maintain accurate data in ATS and HRIS systems

• Ensure compliance with employment and healthcare-related regulations

• Partner with leadership to forecast staffing needs and recruitment strategies

• Promote Matheny's mission and culture in all candidate interactions Required Skills
