Business Development Executive

Job Purpose

• Bring in new business by promoting adult training courses.

• Build relationships with employers and community groups to increase course bookings.

• Meet sales targets and help adults gain skills for work.

Job Duties

• Contact businesses and community organisations to find new customers.

• Find out what training employers need and recommend suitable courses.

• Attend events and run promotional activities to attract employers and learners.

• Follow up enquiries, explain course options and turn interest into bookings.

• Help organise courses, including trainers, resources and paperwork.

• Keep customer records updated and report on sales, bookings and progress against targets.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in sales or business development.

• Confident speaking to customers, building relationships and presenting to groups.

• Organised, comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to manage a busy workload independently.

• A relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience.

• A valid driving licence, access to transport and willingness to travel for work.
