Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

Location: Flexible / Home Based - UK Wide Salary: Up to 65,000 + Commission + Benefits

An established and well-respected freight forwarding business is looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK.

This is a strong opportunity for a proven freight sales professional who wants the freedom to develop their own territory, build a quality pipeline and win profitable new customers, with the backing of an experienced operational team.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own sales activity and target the sectors and customers where you see the greatest opportunity. The business offers a broad international freight capability, giving you the flexibility to provide tailored Air, Sea and Road freight solutions rather than being restricted to a narrow service offering.

With an established operation, strong industry knowledge and a supportive team behind you, this is a role where you can stay focused on developing relationships and winning new business .

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of winning new freight forwarding business

• Strong knowledge of Air, Sea and/or Road freight

• A genuine hunter mentality and ability to self-generate opportunities

• Existing customer relationships or a strong network would be advantageous

• Commercial, consultative and solutions-led approach

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently from a home-based environment

Package

Basic salary up to 65,000 DOE Commission / bonus structure Home based with UK-wide flexibility Pension, holiday and additional company benefits
